Hi everyone – many of you are likely familiar with Salehoo – an online wholesale directory and community for online traders, marketplace merchants, and traditional retailers. Salehoo’s own Alice Devore just completed a video-based tutorial series called ‘Online Selling Tactics’ that shows sellers how to create a unique selling strategy that sets them apart from their competition. According to Salehoo they created Online Selling Tactics because they noticed that a lot of sellers were doing everything they should be doing to build a successful business, but just weren’t making sales.
As part of effort they did a lot of research, and of particular interest to Bonanza, conducted a ’Marketplace Idol’ competition in which they reviewed a number of different marketplaces including Bonanza, Addoway, Ecrater, eBay, and Blujay. The reviews were based on three main criteria and included Alice’s personal experiences selling items on each platform, interviews with executives at each company as well as merchants, and feedback from Salehoo’s community. I was able to review the materials and kind of liked this slide...
I’m happy to report that Bonanza took home the top prize with the top overall combined score across important criteria such as fees, traffic, marketing tools, ease of use, and customer support.
There were a few standout quotes from Alice that I would like to pass on. “In terms of value for the money, Bonanza has a lot to offer in terms of customer support which is really awesome.” So, as the kids say, ‘props’ to the entire support staff including Mark, Elizabeth, Tom, Phaedra, and Judy.
Lastly, I’d be remiss if I didn’t mention the fabulous feedback about the Bonanza community. “There’s something about Bonanza that gets under your skin and leaves a lasting impression on you. I think it’s something to do with the community there. For me, Bonanza is phenomenal…. Where buyers and sellers come together and support each other online. The other sellers genuinely want to help you.”
Now this doesn’t surprise me for a minute, but it’s always nice to hear. So, another tip of the hat to all of you in the community, thanks for making Bonanza great!
