Cyber Monday Rush Bonanza!

This Monday, November 28th, from 7am-5pm PST, we will be hosting the largest Rush sale in Bonanza's history, Cyber Monday Rush Bonanza!  Over a half of a million items are eligible for the Cyber Monday sale across ten of Bonanza's most popular categories.  Shoppers can save as much as 50% off of normal prices.  Are you thinking what I am thinking?  This is going to be bigger than Cabbage Patch Dolls and Tickle Me Elmos combined!  The sale can be previewed here.  

If you are a seller and you want to get in on the action, you have until this Sunday at 7am PST to join.  Just visit your Rush page (from your main edit/new item page, click on the "Sign up for a Rush" tab) and follow the prompts to sign up.  Feel free to use the above graphic to promote on Facebook, Twitter, your blog, your corporate jet, your hot air balloon, well....you get the message.

    You would sign up for any Rush as you normally would. There are up to 10 available.

    Once on your Rush page you should see a total of 10 different categories scheduled for Monday from 7am-5pm PST.

    It looks like I was pre-signed up for this in the categories O normally participate in. If I want to change the discount amount, what do I do?

    If you are already signed up for a Rush, you would need to first cancel the Rush then sign up again with the desired percentage. Just be sure to do so prior to the 24 hour cut off time, otherwise your items will not be added to the Rush.

    You are automatically signed up for a new Rush that you previously belonged to, if you don’t ‘leave’ it.

    To change the discount amount, Leave the Rush, then re-join with the correct amount.

    Gift guides are created by our super secret gift guide creation peeps (aka SSGGCP). Best way to be considered for a gift guide is to have awesome images, solid descriptions and titles, and relevant items.

    So bummed the deadline for sign up was so early this morning. It was on my ‘to do’ list for this morning, but I missed it by 30 minutes. But kudos to Bonanza for the idea. Maybe next time.

    Thanks for taking my suggestion but I missed the announcement until after the deadline. :/ I usually only check my booth and bmail when away from home and missed the blog over the holiday weekend. Hope it is a big success for everyone!

    I think it’s a wonderful idea, but so many people had planned published coupons for Cyber Monday and don’t realize they are automatically in Rushes. They will end up giving double discounts with no forethought or knowledge. Mark, this should have been announced much sooner so more people could be aware. I, for one, found the blog and cancelled my published coupon. But how many people will land in deep doodoo tomorrow? Something needs to be done to not compute double discounts. There’s a project for your staff.

    Been signed up and included in all the available categories – BUT the top of my booth advertises ONLY Upcoming Rush
    Women’s shoes and clothing November 28 at 7:00am PST     …and I have ONLY TWO items in that category… All the rest in other cats. Sure doesn’t look good!

    It may only say one but so long as you signed up prior to the 24 hour window, you should be included in all of the categories you signed up for.

    Rush discounts are shown on item detail pages and not main booth pages. So long as you signed up for the Rush within the time limit, then your items should be in the Rush. Just view the item detail page.

    When the buyer is viewing the item they are interested in, they will see the discount. They will also see this when they checkout. Seems to have worked so far but we appreciate your suggestions on how we can make that more clear

    every time I come in I see the rush for the clothing and I realize that you are having all of the other rushes at the same time, but you really have to look for anything else and I’m familiar with the site. I doubt many are seeing the jewelry rush at all.

    I think the rush discounts should be shown on each participating booth. The customer who is browsing shouldn’t have to click on an item of interest to see if it’s discounted or not. Also, what about the customer who doesn’t know about the rush and finds our items through a google search? They won’t know about the discount unless they click on the item and if they were to see it immediately, we might have a better chance at a sale. Obviously, I’m not a techie and don’t know how difficult this would be to do, but from my point of view, this feature would help everyone’s sales!

    We show rush discounts on the item detail page. Showing the discounts on the booth view tends to slow the site down.

    So long as you joined the appropriate rush 24 hours in advance of the actual rush, then the discount will show on the item detail page/view, for those items that were eligible for the rush.

    When you sign up for a rush, our system will show you how many items qualify for that specific rush category.

    My Belt Buckles (75 of them), were not included in this sale. They are cat in Jewelry/men’s jewelry/buckles…. why did they not show up in the rush?? I checked everything, and I obviously am missing something…

    Could be a number of things. You mentioned above that your belt buckles were not categorized properly so perhaps that is the cause. If you continue to have trouble, please contact us at support so we can assist.

    At the time, I thought they may have been…I doubled checked…they were under Jewelry …Never left… never changed.
