As far as Sprints go, this has got to be our largest one since I can remember (a "Sprint" is what our programming team is working on this week). A few highlights from this sprint are:
There are many other items on the list but they are super boring and include a bunch of terms that I have only seen on the back of my TV input area. If you are fixing to go on vacation, travel safe. If you are getting your kids ready for school, good on you. Whatever you are doing this week in August, thank you for taking the time to read our blog and catch up on what we are doing behind the scenes on Bonanza.

Hmmm … a new tier? Between the $10 and the $24? Or above the $24?
Oh there was a comment in the help forum about one person not getting their freebie month. Now if they were not entitled to it (had previously had a freebie), wouldn’t it be NICE if your sprinters could just have a warning page when the person who is NOT entitled to a freebie that says they have already had their freebie?? Although the OP said she’d never had one before and should have had the freebie. She cancelled her subscription, I believe.
And about :Finish updating our 10 most visited help pages! That would be a HUGE help! I don’t know how many times I’ve gone to a help page only to see totally outdated material.
Any chance you can add creating a shipping label to Bonanza?? Several other sites have it and if one is not on PayPal, they can’t use theirs, I don’t think? I may be wrong on that.
Thank you for your comments. Adding a shipping label is on the list, just not sure when that will be implemented.
With memberships, a user will be eligible for the free trial only when signing up with a credit card. When they sign up with PayPal they are not eligible (there is a large notation on that page that we just recently enhanced that explains this so that should definitely help). There should also be a message when that trial has already been used. I will be sure to follow up on that.
I’m pretty new here, and so I need all the help I can get. I’ve tried to read everything there is to absorb about selling here, in fact I wish there was more help available. I’d like to make my space the best it can be and so updating and improving the help pages would be huge for me. I’m sure a ton of others would benefit too, and since we’re all under one big Bonanza umbrella, what’s good for one is probably good for all. So cheers!
And echoing MKDesigner, creating a shipping label makes things oh so much easier and friendly.
Improve payments? Does that mean giving the buyer a wider choice of payment options? I have PayPal, Amazon, and money order options, but what about simply having the buyer pay like on many other sites, with Visa, MC, etc.? Again, easy for the buyer seems good to me.
By the way I’ve got a wicked backhand in ping pong so if you need any pointers let me know. Thanks!
On the payment improvement, we are investigating different flow options for existing payment methods. We are also actively researching the option to offer credit cards. Stay tuned.
I am afraid that my PP game is non existent. I must make a journey to the far east, to the humble beginnings of the sport to capture the spirit of the game before I can train
whats the new tier? I also have a question. I saw some of the new options of advertising. The $9.00 option and have your stuff featured or advertised on other sites like amazon. Would that or any other option out there drive more traffic to my items than a gold membership? I pay gold membership for the year was wondering if that or any other option would bring the most traffic for my dollar?
Jimmy
Hi Jimmy,
Not too sure on the new tier at this point. My nickname at the office is “lose lips” so I am only given basic details
The pay to advertise model you mention will net you “X” amount of traffic (what you pay for) whereas the membership will provide you as much traffic as you are willing to net. So it really depends on what works best for you. Many sellers use both.
What does a referral traffic incentive mean to sellers here? Would we earn money by referring people to open a store at Bonanza as do some stand alone websites referrals?
And will the new tier be Google ad words or similar? Just a basic yes or no is fine.
A referral traffic incentive could come in many forms. For example a seller could get a discount on fees buyers they bring to their booth via links they post on their blogs, etc.
There are no details regarding the new tier but I bet it is going to be good
What is the criteria to be an A+ reviewer?
We have not defined that yet LavenderLady. We do have the means to mark a review as “Exceptional,” so that will prob be a starting point.
Improve buyer protection information page…
Maybe do a spell check please…
Do you remember the spelling bee thread we had a few years back? lol. Thank you ccmom. Will get right on that
hi mark
I cant remember where I saw that option of $9.00 to advertise your items on amazon, ebay, etc. How do I get back to that?
Jimmy
I am not too sure about a $ 9.00 option. Maybe you saw the 9% option on your advertising page? Here is a link to your advertising page (also can access on “Sell on Bonanza > Advertise your items”):

Ho-la! Wondering if there is a connection to pinterest in the works? Its the hottest share file out there! Thx DJ thephxaz
On each item detail page you will see a “Share” button. Click on that to access the Pinterest pin button. We are also checking into some other opportunities with Pinterest as well.
