This is a pair of lovely hand crafted glass or tesseraie tile Micro Mosaic link or panel bracelets from Italy. Each highly detailed bracelet has 5 connected panels all with a design that consists of intricate roses, flowers and stars composed of hundreds of little pieces. Each link is bowed to make it fit on the wrist nicely. The workmanship is incredible. These were purchased in Italy in the early 1970s, but I believe they were made much earlier, probably the 50s or 60s. The bracelets have an unusual clasp, a flat hook type closure. They are not marked. Each measures approximately 7 1/2 inches long (not counting the curves in each panel) and 1/2 inch wide. My wrist measurement in the picture is 6 1/4 inches using a tape measure.  

They are in very good vintage condition. The tiles on the front appear to be all intact, except for a round one missing in Section 2 with the arrow pointing to it and a blue triangular one missing in Section 1 (bottom bracelet) at the top left edge around the center flower, I did not mark that with an arrow (see pictures). If any others are missing I was unable to tell or may have missed them. The backs of the bracelets do show metal wear and an older patina. On one the brass is mostly a silver color now. A magnet does not stick to either one. I have taken many pictures of all the panels and you can see the details and condition of the tiles on each panel for yourself. There are six pictures, only 5 show in the listing. If you click on the last picture and then the arrow on the side of the picture you will see the one with the bracelets on the wrist.

These would make a great addition to your collection of Micro Mosaic jewelry. Such delicate detailed artwork and craftmanship is hard to find. With the wide range of colors they look great with any outfit and are perfect for casual or evening wear. You can wear them stacked or individually.
