Here is where sellers can list any catch-all policies about their booth. If any of this information is essential to the buying process, the seller will also mention that within their item description -- so don't sweat it if you don't make a habit of looking at the details for every booth!

Booth overview

The US Postal Service raises its prices twice per year. While they are the most economical shipping method, shipping costs have risen dramatically in recent years. We at StarvingPackrats.com are trying to keep those costs as low as possible. We do offer combined shipping discounts whenever possible, especially on like-item purchases that can easily be shipped together. We invite you to contact us for a shipping estimate if you have your eye on several items. And we invite international customers to inquire about shipping costs to your country. We’re here to help!

We accept these forms of payment: Amazon Checkout, US Money Orders, Personal Checks, and PayPal. Payment by mail is due within 7 days from date of purchase. If you are sending payment by mail, would you please let us know when to expect it? Thanks!

Shipping policy

We ship daily (Monday-Friday) to the US, APOs, FPOs, Canada & Europe.

On US shipments, we’ll send you tracking information for your parcel as soon as we have it. We regret the US Postal Service does not provide tracking details for First Class International (Airmail) shipments.

On combined purchases, we will ship your order in as few parcels as is safely possible. We reserve the right to use our choice of USPS or UPS on combined orders, always being mindful of whichever method is most economical for you.

Return policy

Your satisfaction is important to us, and we offer this Limited Return Policy.

Items to be returned must be in the same “as advertised” condition they were in when they were shipped from our location.

If within 5 days of receipt of your item you want to make a return, you must contact us to receive a return authorization number. Returns cannot be accepted without prior authorization. You are responsible for the cost of return postage. After 5 days, all sales are final and no returns will be accepted.

Upon our receipt and inspection of the returned item, we will refund the full purchase price to your payment method, minus the price you previously paid for postage. Postage is not refundable.

EXCEPTIONS

1. We regret we cannot accept returns on items that can easily be reproduced electronically. This includes but is not limited to: sheet music, photographic images, greeting cards, assorted ephemera, print advertisements, sewing patterns, etc. If the item can be scanned, photocopied or reproduced with digital imaging, it cannot be returned. Sales of these types of items are Final.

2. We cannot accept returns of items which were sold as New and Sealed in Original Package once you have opened the packaging. If the original packaging has not been opened, the return policy stated above will apply.

3. Pierced earrings are not returnable. All our pre-owned pierced earrings are sanitized before we list them. Since we are selling them at low prices, we cannot accept them back, as doing so will cause us an added expense of having to sanitize them again before resale.
