Vintage Made in France sunglasses from the 1950s are so rad, man. They have clear rims with a black layer on top that gives a wonderful depth to them, and the bows are solid black. They’re signed France on the inside end of the right bow.
They measure 5-5/8” across wing to wing (the face is curved to fit the contours of your head but measurement is straight across), lens height is 1-1/8” at the center, width at center is 1-15/16”, bow length is 5-1/4”.
The condition is excellent by virtue of having been in my friend’s storage for over 30 years, left undisturbed all that time. There are a few very very light scratches on the lenses and bows, but nothing major or inconsistent with the age of these totally GLAM beauties.
