This small vintage faux snakeskin purse or handbag is really awesome, measuring just 8-1/2" wide at the bottom, 7" at the top x 7-1/4" high including clasp (12" including handle). It’s 3-1/4" thick, so can hold a lot of goodies. Squared off at the bottom to sit up without tipping over, it has beautiful markings, is a deep rich brown color, and has gold tone hardware and an attached coin purse.

Condition is amazing for its age, with a few minor issues. First is that there is a tiny area of missing "skin" on the bottom corner that measures 1/8" x 1/4", second is that the coin purse is just tied on at this point, and lastly, it looks like the lining of the one pocket needs to be re-glued to the back. Look at the closeup pix to see how insignificant these issues are overall. Otherwise wear is normal and completely consistent with age. One other thing to note is that it appears to have been stored with the handle to the side so until it bears some weight—a/k/a all your goodies!—the handle leans to one side. None of this detracts from the awesomeness of this truly gorgeous bag.
