Does anyone know about booth discount features??

I have been considering doing discounts on my booth items, but have never done or offered promotions or discounts. If anyone who happens to do a lot of this knows, I would be so greatful to know more about it, as I don’t want to ruin my booth by making changes that could cause a problem IF anything should wind up selling on here.

Also, what is the best way to offer a coupon code or discount?? I have never done anything like this on any of our venues, so this is a new thing for me. I’m hoping deep down that this will help items sell, as we have not sold much on Bonanza. I have tried promoting our booth on twitter and that has not helped either.

Kinda at the end of ideas now…. Any advice would be great right now. Thanks so much in advance!! Hoping this post shows up, as it’s hard for bonanza messages or forum posts to show up when I post them. Have a great weekend!! May God bless!!

You can create coupons…as many as you like.

If you publish the coupon, then anyone who looks at items in your booth can click on the Coupon Offered icon and see the amount of discount you are offering on your items. Coupons used apply for all items in booth (you cannot pick and choose).

You can offer ‘private’ coupon codes to return customers, customers on other venues to lure here..(I usually send these codes to customers on the invoice, the code can be custom for particular buyer or general for any/all return customers).

You enter these codes and Do not publish them. Just give the code to whomever you wish. The codes remain active until you delete them.

So if you give a code to a customer to return for another purchase, and do not want that code used again, you will have to delete it after the customer purchases.

You can use the markdown option, but that means that you would have to go back and reset all items that you used that option on..since you are not a pro member, it does not automatically expire and reset. (I would stay away from this until you figure it out…and it does not really show as a discount to a customer, just shows as lower prices)

To enter [URL removed]
Edit Booth Options
Discounts & Coupons Tab
There will be boxes that say

Coupon Code
Discount which can be percentage or $ amount and bonz now has an option if you like to use it (don’t know if anyone ever has..I also leave mine as ‘free’) that a person can purchase a discount with their tokens (the tokens are transferred to you)

If you publish fill in the ‘boiler plate blurb’ ([URL removed] Memorial Day sale 15% off all items) then click the publish button

You can have only one public (published) code at a time

but you can have as many ‘private’ codes as you want

Click on the link to Add another Coupon for private (non-published codes)

and add whatever you wish…the code can be a word, series of numbers, letters, mixture…whatever, you will
