Gtin number field needs to be added to all categories

Attention Bonanza….

New items with GTIN (upc) numbers are going to be a requirement for Google Shopping by May 16th.

Are there plans to add this field to all categories in the works?

It has been years since this field was removed from the pet categories, I have sent various emails begging for it to be added back, to no avail. Yes, we can use Batch Edit…that is time consuming. And not needed if the GTIN/UPC space was on the Edit Item screen.

It’s now a requirement that will be enforced soon, no longer can sellers just put the brand/mpn with items that have a valid upc.

Sorry, hit enter in error. Until such time as it is added, can you just add it to the bottom of any new listings, using the [[[URL removed]]] format?

upc can be added at the end of every listing, regardless of whether the upc attribute is there or not by adding…as Book says

[[[URL removed] at the end of the listing…
actually all attributes/traits can be added that way..you can also do it with [[[URL removed] if you want

Also the upc has been converted to gtin in our google feeds for over a year+ now….every since google announced that it would be a required by x date in 2016…you can see that in the search optimize

as to why they dropped upc for pet supplies…curious wonder what the reason was

So you all are adding it to the description at the end/bottom of each? Just trying to avoid using the Batch Edit…. I just wish Bonz would add that field back in.
