Is there any indication that an import is underway?

I have connected to my Amazon account preparatory to importing my items there.

I put in all the info, and on Amazon, it says “Developer access expires on Jun 25, 2018.”

Is this the indication that the import has started? Or is there something else I have to do?

What’s making me question this is the fact that there seems to be no indication on Bonanza that it is so.

No that just means when the authorization you gave to Amazon to allow bonanza in expires.. You have to scroll down the import item page. You have your import settings that you need to check off for what you want and then at bottom of page is a green button that says “start your Amazon import” click on that.

I don’t know if my IQ keeps lowering, but are you talking about the page that says “Import items from Amazon”?

I am there, and I see a green “Connect your Amazon account” button, and beneath that, a “Need help?” option that offers the help center which has me even more confused.

I’m about ready to just give up. :-(

Yes, first you have to connect your Amazon account to Bonanza. Then you can do the import from Amazon to bonanza.
