Social groups at bonanza

Hello Co-Sellers!

I’m largely a handmades seller, and am thinking about suggesting, at the feedback page, that we have Groups here. I’d like to communicate here in an arena for handmades sellers. If there used to be groups here, and they were discontinued, I don’t want to waste my tokens suggesting it.

Has Bonanza ever had a “Groups” function? I apologize if I asked this before, but I did search twice in this community for groups, and found no posts about it.

Thanks,
Sandi

Sandi,

There used to be an area that such groups and conversations happened. It was removed a while back and replaced by this forum.

Thanks, tammiestreasures. I won’t suggest it then. I’ll try to do something else then, to connect with handmades sellers.

If you posted this on the feedback page, I’d give it a vote. I’d love to see some specific groups on Bonanza that focus on a particular [URL removed] SEO, handmade, social, etc. Etsy sort of has these and I think that they help out sellers quite a bit.

It does not have to be like the old forums. In the first post their can be set rules right at the beginning (as they do in the game forums) or maybe Bonanza can give the thread a header that stays up on the top of each screen with or without rules in the first post.

Ok. Will reconsider suggesting, while also moving forward with work-arounds and new ideas. Thanks!

Yes, let me know via email if you decide to suggest this and I’ll go cast my vote.

Hate FBook’s cluttered appearance & how posts quickly get buried. I’m back on there again trying to like it, after leaving a few yrs ago. Will probably be tapering off participation, but leaving my acct there. Thanks anyway!

Yes you can make a facebook page or even here on bonanza make a “game” and name it something like “Handmade chat forum” or something like that, i know its not the best solution, but it might work.

Great idea! Was going to be thinking about a work-around like that. Thanks so much!

I agree it would be nice to have a few forums added for diffeent groups of items, not every category like it started but at least have a handmade, vintage, home decor, entertainment, and a few other forums to be “groups.” The old forums still exist but I don’t think they are anything more than an archive because most were almost never active. It is fun to read what was going on 8 or 9 years ago :)

To Answer Brilliantly

Remember these tips:

  • Use links to other sources to support your opinions
  • Use examples where possible
  • Put yourself in the inquirers shoes: what extra info would be helpful?

Should I post a comment or an answer?

You can only post one answer, so make it count. Maybe your reply is more fitting as a comment instead?

Post an answer for:

  • Replies that directly and specifically answer the original question

Post a comment for:

  • "Thanks," "Me too," "I agree," or "Works for me" types of replies
  • When you would like the original poster to provide more details
  • When you have more to add to someone else's question or answer
