Bonanza advertising choices

What have you used successfully and what are all those choices? It used to just be Google Shopping and eBay.

I thought I was on it—when this first started they sent a letter that said if you didn’t opt out you were in. Well, I never opted out—so I just figured I was in. I’m not now.

It’s been long enough that some of you had to have had some success or not to much with these programs—just curious what you’ve found valuable before I click a box.

Thanks.

Thanks

When the google advertising was first introduced I opted in at the 13% level. I was selling but each and every sale seemed to come through google shopping because I was paying 13% on everything. That was a bit frustrating because I had always hoped that some non-google sales would reduce my overall cost to 10%, which was my goal, but that wasn’t happening. February 2013 I decided to drop that advertising. My sales slowed down to an almost stop. I went from an almost guaranteed sale a day, and many times multiples, to 5 or 6 in a month. So several months ago, I opted back in. I’m at the basic level 9%. While my sales have been pitiful, 2-4 a month for the last five months, not one sale has been through google shopping. Bottom line for me is, if you’re going to opt in to the advertising, you most likely need to be at the standard (13%) level. But at that level, be prepared to pay.
