Last night I was forced to use E-Bays mailing label printer.
When doing so, it prints a receipt.
(Today, back to normal; Pay-Pal printer)
Is there a way to set the default for no printed receipt?
TY

If there is I have never seen one. Actually the receipt is your proof that you printed the receipt. Sometimes it helps to have that in cases where the buyer is disputing the ship date. Glad printing labels through PayPal is back to normal. Another option if it happens again is to use the blank shipping label through PayPal by using: www.paypal.com/shipnow ; which has always worked for me in the past.
Hope this helps.

It never prints a receipt when I use it. I must have saved a setting somewhere to tell it not to but I can’t find it. Sorry. :/

There is a setting where you can opt out of the receipt. Without looking at the page, I can’t remember exactly what the settings link says, but it’s something like printer options or printing options. You have to look very closely to notice it, but it’s there. Click on it and you’ll see the option to nix the receipt.

Mind you, I’m referring to PayPal’s Shipnow tool — not eBay. I’ll be printing a label later tonight, so will look for the exact wording and on which page it exists.

I have the right setting for No receipt on
the Pay-Pal’s shipping site.
I was looking for help on the E-Bay shipping site.

I do not like nor use the E-Bay site, but when
I tried to print a label on the Pay-Pal site
it sent me to the E-Bay page?

There is one on the ebay site too. Under the date, it says “Printing”. The second drop down is for receipt or no receipt.
You do not need a printed receipt. I saved them for years & had gallon bags of them. Your receipt is stored online, PLUS you should be getting an email that says “You printed a shipping label”. If you save those in an email folder, you can ALWAYS print it out later should you think you need too. Since they are stored in “the cloud” you don’t have to worry about losing them if your computer crashes.

Thank you Prissy-
That was what I was looking for.
I have been selling on line for 10+
years and have never printed a receipt.
No reason to.

Thank Y’all; Sue, Sparkel, and Iris for
responding
