Google+’rs help please. when i try to paste a photo URL on google+ I get a lock symbol. Where do i go to lessen this security or abolish that lock? The photo doesn’t appear, just the URL and my message. Anybody got a clue?

Upper right hand corner near your name ‘+Share’

After it loads, click on camera icon just like twitter.

I think what Barns is trying to do is to add a link like this one to Google+ like we do on FB and for the picture to appear.

1937 Vintage Cigars 50 Class A Series 107 Tobacco Tax Stamp http://t.co/pJEG1eBk at Bonanza

For some reason it doesn’t so how do we bypass this?

Wouldn’t you put the wording and link in the ‘Share what’s new box’ and upload the picture through the camera icon?

I even tried a regular item link thinking it was maybe a tinyurl issue but even this link won’t work.

Must be something in your settings, I have no problem adding text, links, or photos. Though I really don’t Google +. Just had a page and thought I would try it.

I’m trying to catch up…but I saw the word padlock. To get rid of the padlock, hover your cursor over the padlock and you’ll see a small arrow come up. You can click on the arrow until you get to the photo that you want to choose….that way you can choose the first photo of your listing, the one in the middle, or the last one.

Give it a try.

I’ve looked at all the settings can’t find anything that would cause that. It never did it before either.

This actually did not start happening until those images to the tops of our Bonanza pages were added…the padlock one and the other two that were added to the very top.

I got done reading….I think I see that this was your problem with the padlock image coming up instead of the first photo of your listing.

Here’s a screen shot Sheeny. Your right Sharon it’s the pad lock picture Bonanza added to the top of our listings when we are signed out. Don’t know why I didn’t recognize it..Could be because I’m never signed out

For some reason the padlock image stuck in my head

The cool thing about the arrows on Google plus is being able to choose which picture we want from our listings. So far though, I always only want the first photo of my listing.

What I can’t figure out is why it happens on Google+ and not on Facebook???

now how about this question: why can’t I 1+ items listed in Google search like I used to? have they stopped that. My google settings still says it’s activated.
