Please take the time to read this whole post. It’s not so much rules as instructions on how to get the most tokens from your tagging! That’s the game part. Getting as many tokens as you can! And “finding the tags” to approve them! The game also brings game members to your booth regularly. Yes, the post looks long, and it kind of is, but not as long as some other game directions. Greetings to all Taggers and Tag Approvers. We are gathering here to tag one another and to actively approve all appropriate tags. We will also discuss tagging in general and tagging issues as they appear. There are tagging glitches in the system, so we also play “Find the Tag” at the same time, lol. See the section on How to Approve Tags. These are not so much rules as they are instructions and suggestions to get the most out of tagging.After reviewing this… Want to join? I’ll add you to the list.By joining this game, you promise whole-heartedly to tag member items as often as you can AND, MOST IMPORTANT you promise to review pending tags on a daily basis and approve those you can.When reviewing tags, members promise to approve all “appropriate” tags that most accurately describe the item being tagged.Approvals come first, then tag. Sometimes you won’t have time to tag. Life happens, and we know that. Let me know if you’re going on vacation, okay?As Selah told us when she so astutely started the original “Taggers Simplified”… Just a reminder everyone… only accept tags that you feel are APPLICABLE to your item…. otherwise the whole program will get screwed up again and be of no use to Bonz… in which event they would most likely cancel it. Also… when you’re tagging choose thoughtfully – if no tags seem relevant … pass it by. We hate seeing you lose your bet. Even if you are an experienced tagger/approver, and especially if you are new to tagging and approving, I recommend reading the rest of this information. There is lots of new information for you.How to Tag: Find tags at the bottom of a product listing in a players booth. Click on one (or more) if you think it accurately describes the item being sold. There can be more than one tab to choose tags from, depending on the category of the listing. Choose your bet… 1, 2 or 3 tokens. This determines how many tokens you earn when the tag is approved — 5, 10 or 15, respectively. Experienced taggers almost always bid high!Highly and sincerely recommended for your success… Then post in the player’s chatbox what you tagged. The best results come if you list the tag you chose and the item you checked. For example: Tagged “potentially practical” for @item xyz (xyz = listing number). Highly experienced taggers who do this get the most approvals and tokens!You can bet up to 10 tags every day if you choose to do that much tagging. If you bet 3 tokens on each, that’s a possibility of 150 tokens earned. Realistically, players rarely get 150 tokens in a day, but they do add up quickly. Experienced taggers know this well. Approving Tags (also known as “Find the Tag”): Here are ways we know of right now. Doing that gives you the best chances for having your appropriate tags approved. 1) Easiest is in your “My Bonanza page.” Link on page for pending tags only shows if tags are pending. Click there and it will take you to pending tags for you to approve or to decline (hide). Sometimes the pending tags don’t show up here, so we try other methods too. They are… 2) Directly in Your Listing: If tagger tells you the item they tagged AND which tag they checked, you can go right to the listing and recheck the box for them. Original tagger gets credit. 3) If a tagger tells you they tagged a particular item: On the page where our item is listed, go to tags section. There is a link there to “manage this item’s tags”. Click on it. It will show pending tags and any you may have hidden in the past. You can now approve and change tags there. And save. Original tagger gets the credit. 4) If someone tells you they tagged a particular item, go to that listing. Enter your listing’s ‘edit mode’ (where you actually change the text of the listing) and look for the section that shows tags. All the unchecked tags you see are pending tags! Check them all, if appropriate, and up to six tags. Remember to save the changes to your listing! The seller(s) who suggested the tags will get credit/tokens, even though it may come late. Yes, this is the most cumbersome way, but it is foolproof and works every time. Also give you an opportunity to review the details of your listing while you are there. Especially check your shipping details. Some will have that info missing. Most amount of work here, but you’ll be happy if you are able to correct a problem in your listing at the same time. (Most work, but probably most reliable) Original tagger gets credit. 5) In the Sales Booster Dashboard, in the Tag box. Find the Show Pending Tags Link, then find the Show only pending tags link above the listing of your page numbers. Original tagger gets credit. 6) Batch Editor: Find the Show only pending tags link. See post on page 22 with screen shots about how to use it. Original tagger gets credit. The list of members begins below. Now go earn those tokens!Any questions or problems… please post in thread so we can all try to answer and/or solve. Also, please let me know if you will be away for a period of time or on vacation. I’ll note that by your name on the list, so taggers don’t invest their token bets until you get back. Thanks!P.S. In the previous thread, we discussed whether we would receive tokens for pinning, since “faves” were taken away. This is the reply… Hi Annie, At this point we will not award tokens for Pinning. There are many other opportunities to earn tokens on Bonanza and I am sure we will create a few more opportunities soon Mark Wonder what they have up their sleeves that will be new and give us more tokens?
