Unless you are backreading posts, you may have missed this one from GrandmasPantry. So, if someone mentions they tagged something and you can’t find it, this is another method to approve tags.

From Grandmas Pantry:

Wow! I went to my Sell page and opened listings one at a time and found tons of tags that I needed to accept. I am on page 25 of 47 so I have a long way to go but I did as much as I could in one night. I will get to them as soon as I can.

A2z gave me the idea since they said they go to the listing and click on edit. Thanks A2z!

I also found lots of items in my booth that there are no tags on so if you feel like tagging, I have many items that could use a little love.

EDITED to add step by step instructions:

Go to your SELL page (top left side of screen, drop down menu). Then click on add or edit items.

Open each item, one at a time and scroll down to just below the description box. There, is where you will find any tags, if there are any.

If there are tags, you can see which ones are already approved because the squares next to them are checked and the tag is highlighted in a tannish color.

Those tags that need to be approved are not highlighted and they do not have a check mark in the box next to them.

All you have to do is click the box next to the tag you want to accept and hit save at the bottom of the listing.

Also from yesterday. Back read to page 20 for more detail.

From abbysattic:

ZenGirl asked me to post this. I hope this makes sense.

If a tagger leaves a message saying they suggested a tag and it doesn’t appear in your “my Bonanza”, you can go directly to the item and select the tag yourself. This will not cost you any tokens but it will give the tagger credit/tokens as they should receive. When you check the tag, you will not see the pop up asking if you want to double or triple your bet, but you will see a pop up that says “tag saved.”

Remember though, depending on the item there may be multiple tabs with possible tabs. If I’m looking at a sewing pattern in your booth, there are 3 tabs of tags: Great for this type of person, Collector’s Stuff, and Style. Not every category has multiple tabs of tags but you should keep your eyes open. The suggested tag may not appear on the tab that shows up first.

Passed on to abbysattic by saleaway.

Many thanks to sellers who are sharing tag approval techniques with one another and in this thread. We learn some everyday on ways to get around the glitches!

Backreading posts here can be very informative. I highly recommend it.

Backread a few posts for information about the Contest going on!

My 10 for today! I do 10 everyday but it doesn’t seem like I get any.

I agree yeoldjewelry, sometimes it seems that way with me too. What is proper tagging etiquette here? I try and tag 10 a day but do not always manage, especially on weekends. I tag 7 or so and then I save a few tags for people that might come tag my items. If I have not already just been to their place recently, I pay them a visit and tag them back. If I run out of tags, I save the person in my chat window and get them the next day. When all are taken care of, I delete their chat notes(sometimes I leave them a day or two because that helps them remember they were already at my place if they stop in again).
If no one does stop in and I have tags left at the end of the day, I usually go use them up.
Such an art to this tagging business… lol
Quite often though someone who is signed up here will stop in and thank me for tagging them but not leave any tags in return…??? so not sure what that is about.Maybe they were out of tags…could be or they don’t remember they signed up here so do not realize I stopped because of that.

Oh well, still out tagging all the same

yeoldejewelryshoppe, you are at the end of the alphabet, like me. Many people tag starting with the A’s. You were recently added, so it may take people a bit of time to reach you — same as me at the very end.

Everyone, if you are reading this and have tags available, why not stop by yeoldjewelryshoppe and give them an appropriate tag to get them started, say HI, and have a look around. I won’t have any available until tomorrow, so I’ll visit then.

Heartsome, I don’t know if there really is any reciprocation expected when someone leaves a tag. I personally go down the alphabet and do not return tags on a particular day. I also tend to do the new players on their first day. Nothing personal at all. Just how I approach it.

I do think you are correct, Heartsome, that people forget they are signed up here. That’s one reason we don’t see them very often here, if ever. It makes any kind of communication about news difficult because it’s such a long list. It’s also hard to maintain the list for the same reason.

Just wondering, will the two of you be back in time to see this reply?

Just curious how much backreading of posts is happening with the people who ARE here.

Oh! WOW! Thank You! GrandmasPantry for that tip. I checked mine the way you said and I found 9 on the first page that I had to approve a tag.

ALSO, for some unknown reason Worlwide shipping was checked and I do not ship international. No International was checked but the worlwide was also checked.

I am going to check my other pages.

How long can I keep tokens?
You can accrue tokens month-by-month, but we will expire them after 12 months if they are not redeemed

I would like to continue participating, but for some reason unknown to me, while I was on vacation my rewards went into a minus total and when I redeem by credits for the day it says I have earned them but reduces my balance. I am currently in the hole by -1489. Therefore cannot tag. Poor Me.

I have contacted help and waiting to see what happens.

Hi Annie, I got your message and you can add all THREE of me’s.

QUESTION: When you apply the tokens to your bill and that there is a credit balance, why doesn’t it get carried forward. It looks like if you have $3.94 fees and you applied 2000 tokens ($4.00), it does not show that you have a credit of .06 cents. DO you just loose that credit???

It might be good to backread posts for recent important information. You can just breeze through the non-essential posts. I have added your three booths:

Hey everyone, if you’re reading this, why not stop by, say HI and give a tag for our new member?

Regards your question on applying tokens, you want to be sure you have at least a full dollar before you apply tokens to pay your fees. There is no credit for overage. Why? That’s just the way it is. Probably would be a programming/accounting nightmare to keep track of otherwise.

Another note… Please remember to post or bmail me if you find someone who seems to be on an extended vacation or their link goes to the home page or if they seem to be tagged out. I’ll try to contact them to see what the scoop is for them. Can’t keep track of everyone myself! Thanks bunches…

You might want to check Nikkidoom’s profile before you tag there. She hasn’t been seen since 9/5, and I’ve sent her a message to try to find out what’s the scoop. Lot’s of pending tags there, and I don’t want you to invest any more token bets unless she wants to participate. It would be a shame if she doesn’t. There are really nice wedding items there.
