People seem to be tagging without leaving chatbox messages — one way they were losing token bets earlier. However, I’m seeing pending tags showing up in my Sale Booster Dashboard.

When you go to the Sale Booster Dashboard, look at the tag box, choose check pending tags, then when the screen changes, choose Show Only Pending Tags. That link is right above your page numbers.

It’s even easier than using Batch Editor.

That’s not to say we don’t want our link back on the My Bonanza page. We certainly do want it back!

Now more than ever it’s important to leave the link and what tags you’ve selected in the chat so that the seller can simply click on the link and go straight to that item to accept the tags.

Whew. Bonanza sure looks different today.

Found my tags via the dashboard, but since that’s not the way I’m used to it will take a few days to get adjusted to it.

I have now activated my “Sale Booster Dashboard”, but I sure hope that they bring tag alerts back to the “My Bonanza” page.

How often is it advisable to clear my chat box? I also just did that this morning.

QUESTION ~ when I tag a sellers item, how do I get the blue-box-link into their instant-chat-box (at top of page) ??? I’ve tried cut & paste with the item title but it doesn’t change to a blue link . . .

With the changes to My Bonanza page this is very important.

Could someone please tell this not so bright person how you now find your items that have been tagged? I go to Batch Editor and check the Tagged Items, what then??

Yeold: It’s Update Items as a Group (or Batch edit items) > Item Tags > Edit tags for all filtered items > Show only items with pending tags (link at the top of the list of items)

I don’t see only items with pending tags at the bottom. Maybe I don’t have any. Maybe somebody could just tag one of my items amd I’ll look later and see if it shows at the bottom.

This is how I am using the chat window (see below statement). Make sure you when you leave the message you put the tag you chose, then @item 12345678 (whatever the actual item number is at the bottom of the listing under item number) I just highlight the number, copy and then paste. When you submit the chat you will see the blue box around the item, the number becomes the name of the listing.

This is what I say.

Tagged as “colorful” your @item (paste in item number in this space, no parenthesis around it) Hope you’ll approve this tag by using the blue link and checking the box next to the chosen tag at the bottom of the listing. Thanks and have a great day!

I have found that the pending tags don’t always show when you search for them under the sales booster or booth edit. If everyone lets the person know what tag they chose for the item, you can easily go directly to the item, scroll down the page, and check the box next to that tag that is with the other choices of tags. It will not show as a pending tag. Even if it doesn’t show up at the top of the listing under tags, the person will get credit for it.

The easiest way to tag and approve tags:

1. When you tag, leave a chatbox message telling the seller what item you tagged and what tag you checked.

2. To approve when you get a chatbox message like this… Go directly to your item listing and check off the box in the tag section. This is what we are calling a manual approval.

This really is the easiest approval method in the absense of a “My Bonanza” page link.

If you don’t want to use this method, use the Sale Booster Dashboard method I described on page 23

OR

Use the Batch Editor Method described (with screen shots) on page 22.

I surely hope all of you who are asking questions in the forum here are coming back looking for replies.

GrandmasPantry, I got 7 approvals today, so some folks must be figuring it out!

In the seller’s chatbox, when I leave notification of the name of the item tagged and the tag I checked, I also add a sentence that says, “Please let me know if you have any difficulty finding where to approve tags due to changes on 9/18. Thanks! ”

People seem to be figuring it out if they are following the forums.

Hopefully this was just my luck but when tagging this morning, one of my attempts to triple my bet failed. Message said there was an error. Nothing else.

Did my tags for today. Now I off to approve them.
