I’m still getting views for items that were sold long ago. Can I delete these items without affecting the feedback I received? Thanks all. Carol

I need to know the same thing. I thought the extra views might be good, but they very rarely turn into booth views for current items offered. Anyone know?

This question comes up ALL THE TIME. People who are searching for similar to what they have to sell and others just searching for what they want to buy will WANT TO KNOW what items have sold for in the past. It seems that sold items hang around for about 1 year. It hurts nothing!!!! I have no idea how you would delete them, they are in the Search Engine Data Bases. When they click on the link at the search engine, they find that the item is sold, and occasionally I get a question asking if I happen to have more. It doesn’t hurt or affect anything. And could get you a sale in the long run because they have come to your booth.

To add to G’s line of thinking, I would MUCH rather have someone click a search engine link and come to a sold item than have them click through to a dead link and never come back again. Dead links are bad for business.

I look at it as free advertising. Figure if someone checks on an item you sold maybe they’ll want to see what else you have in your booth.

I like G’s view on this topic. I guess it’s possible if a potential buyer is looking at an item sold, they might take the time to see if there may be something else that the seller has for sale.

Thanks Tegger, if we can get them to our booth, who knows what could happen. I have someone considering 2 of my items right now. Don’t know how they found me but I am going to ask how they got here.

So glad I saw this thread. I’ve often wondered the same thing and now it makes total sense. Thanks G. Now those sold items won’t bug me so much!
