It’s very unfortunate of your experience on bonanza and or other sites, of where you experienced bots (and possibly no sales). But is that so right to take your frustration out on others, ie; myself. Wow. I was going to just quietly read the last few postings here, but the training and experience I have is making it rather impossible for me to remain silent.

1. If there is anyone who offers any kind of advertising service to you for your online or brick-and-mortar store and guarantees sales, be aware that it is most likely a scam.

2. Anyone in advertising and promotion who has even an ounce of ethics and intelligence knows that he/she can not guarantee sales unless he/she were to buy items themselves.

3. My family had a newspaper. When we sold advertising to the local businesses, we never guaranteed sales. We only guaranteed delivery of the newspaper to our subscribers. We could not guarantee the paper would be read before it was used to wrap fish or paper train a puppy, but we did guarantee to both our advertisers and to our subscribers that the paper would be delivered. That is the ONLY guarantee that can be offered with advertising, that it will be delivered.

If you don’t like a certain type of advertising or find you don’t get the results you want, then it is time to change your marketing strategy. It is not time to slam the provider of the advertising service.

From what I have read here, BrendaSearchingSouls makes it very clear what she is offering.

Your frustration over a lack of sales is understandable. Everyone who has a store in this country is feeling the same pain.

I have visited your booth on Bonanza and it makes sense you would have low sales. People are buying more low-cost items rather than $1,500 chandeliers. I have found from my own sales and from friends who have sold items in the last few months that most people are buying things in the $20 range.

You might consider switching your booth from “Highest” priced items showing first to “Newest” instead. This would immediately show shoppers that you have a variety of prices, not just expensive light fixtures. If I were a shopper and checked out your booth, I would think that all of your items were very expensive and that I would not find anything for the amount of money I would be willing to spend.
