I hadn’t noticed, but I do see what your saying is true. Interesting indeed. When I click to disable and to apply that, then the selected mark is then gone too. BlingyThings' booth |

Indexing in GPS can take 24 to 72 hours, so newly listed items may well not show in just a few hours. The setting in Batch Edit is for sellers to keep certain items from going to GPS. These may be items that they don’t have UPIs or exemptions for, or that they have duplicate listings elsewhere, for example. If you want to suppress just some listings, you click Enable and select the listings you don’t want to go. Let us know what you hear back. Bookbin Etc Country Variety |

I will let you know what they say. I am having trouble understanding why all of a sudden all of my items are suppressed when I have not changed any settings. As I used batch editor for all of my items, it gave me a message that those items “were no longer suppressed”. I never suppressed their transmission. Very confusing! CelticEcho's Corner |

@ Sheenys-Shack, thanks. I am hoping that all of my items will eventually get back into the index. It took me a while to work with the batch editor tonight. I tried selecting all at once and that didn’t work so I did them in batches of 12 to 15 and that worked. |

I just found out today that my items with calculated shipping are not showing up in google shopping. I also check another sellers booth and it was the same for them. I did find you Lefton Holly plates and your pitcher (free shipping) on google shopping, but not your miniature tea set, which has calculated shipping. |

@A2z4u2c, I did run a google feed check and it came back with 6 items that had a problem with shipping. I will check again tomorrow to see if all of the other calculated shipping items come up as issues in the feed check. If you have any further issues please let us know but I don’t suspect you will. |

Here’s some Information about Google too that might be part of some of your issues, has to do with UPC’s as well as what may have already been mentioned in these posts, it’s an interesting read too about why ‘’no shows in Google’’: http://www.bonanza.com/forums/9/topics/246073 Have a Good Evening No Matter What!

Yes, I have now noticed that around 1,265 of my items no longer show in google product search. I am pretty positive it is because I use calculated shipping except on about 750 items. Yikes, so very annoying. ilovecrystals' booth |

@divinefabrics, Thanks for the link. Before this, all of my items have shown up in product search. Very few of my items have UPCs because they are old items made before the advent of those codes and I have a google exemption for these items. Sometime in the last few weeks, something has happened. My listings have all shown up in product search up until now. I hope they can solve our mystery. CelticEcho's Corner |

Sorry I haven’t read all the posts, yet, so don’t know if this was already mentioned, but go to your My Bonanza page. Under the Sell box, there is a row of links for Selling Tools that includes Google. Simply click on that and it will tell you what is being sent to Google. It also gives you the option to check your feed for errors. Also, what Bookbin said is true. It could even take longer than 72 hours, but that’s pretty rare. |

Anyone that uses calculated shipping is no longer in google shopping. This is a bonanza problem not google. Also problems with “google product category” not sure what that is all about. Also not sure how bonanza gets away with 80 characters for the title when Google only allows 70. BM Enterprise at Bonanza |

I may be incorrect, but I think the google status check only shows so many items per error. Mine was 6 as well. In March I did a error check and all 3 booths where error free, just now did another one and that is how I found out about the calculated shipping. I also just started using that on a few items, previously I only did flat rate. a2z4u2c |

“Got that same issue I try to use calculated shipping to help buyers and myself. Yes my sales are non existant for the last while.” I find calculated shipping (by zone & zip) painful and useless. To me, better to offer free shipping and factor it in the cost — or a flat rate, like Overstock does – $2.95. Chicago48's booth |

Oh great. I use calculated shipping on 99% of my items. I’m not centrally located in the country so I can’t do flat rates unless I want to overcharging buyers on the East Coast (where I’m located). Calculated shipping for buyers on East Coast isn’t as high as for buyers on West Coast. This is not good at all. I had wondered why sales had taken a nose dive. EDIT – I just checked items on Google Shopping and only a handful of mine show up. And yes, they are all items with flat rate shipping assigned. They are items that can go first class because they don’t weigh much. MommyOf2QTs' Marketplace |

I haven’t checked my Google status lately because well, I decided long ago that I was done trying to placate the Google gods. I have never in my 3+ years on Bonz had a single sale come from Google products, so why sweat it? My stuff is found on all the search engines and that’s where the bulk of my sales come from, organic search. I would never switch to flat rate shipping just to have my items visible in google product search. Calculated shipping is easy and fair. As long as you know what your package will weigh you just enter the weight and select your shipping method and you’re done. That way every buyer pays the correct shipping cost to their zip code and I don’t lose any money. On very rare occasions I get the weight wrong, which means I either issue a refund or I eat the difference, but that’s very rare. I’ve been in this business for a long time and pretty much know what my items are going to weigh when properly packed. Collectible Corner ~ Antiques, Uniques, & Other Fun Things |

Does this explain the 2-week drought I had prior to last week? Thanks for raising this issue Celtic. Much appreciated. Just checked my booth as well. As suspected, calculated shipping items not showing up in GPS. Flat rate shipping is there. Do we know for sure this is a Bonz glitch or is this a Google glitch? Would love to know before I begin editing. Abby's Attic |

I originally thought it was just an isolated glitch with the google product search feed from my booth. However, after hearing from so many other sellers, I am convinced that there is an issue ( either with the feed from Bonanza or more likely on Google’s side) pertaining to how we handle shipping .It appears that some of us who calculate shipping are not getting those items into GPS. As I said earlier, I know this is a recent problem since I checked my items about 2 weeks ago. I don’t know how much impact this really has anyway. I just wish that if changes are made at Google, that they make us aware of the changes. CelticEcho's Corner |

@Celtic – after you disabled the GPS supression, did you see your items showing up in GPS? It was my understanding that we had to turn the suppression on so that inaction would automatically send items to GPS. And as @Mommyof2QTs said, when you’re in the middle of the country, flat rate is manageable. When you’re on the coast, if it’s larger than 13 oz, calculated shipping is definitely the way to go. @abbysattic- no, I went through every item in batch editor and clicked the disable suppression button thinking that was the problem. After that, the missing items did not show up. But I am aware that it could take 72 hours for the changes to be in effect. Scroll up to an earlier post of mine (8th post in the thread) in which support explains the suppression enable/disable button. |
