Boy do I love the P*E*A*C*E symbol! And F*L*O*W*E*R power too! How about you?

When we were 10 or so, me, my brother and a female cousin got into my uncle’s air-dry clay. We pressed clay out, cut out circles with a drinking glass, and made peace signs and other late-60’s symbols. It was so much fun sliding them under the bed on a piece of cardboard, and going back the next day to see how much they had dried. Of course I was the ringleader, being slightly older and adventurous…lol.

For me it was SHRINKY DINKS instead of air-dry clay. Remember SHRINKY DINKS?

ReddyGiftware of COURSE I remember Shrinky Dinks. I did them in the oven and over a light bulb, lol. Loved the way the colors got darker and denser with the shrinking. You can still find the product now I think. Ran across a link to a craft tutorial that showed how you can make them with the clear, plastic produce containers that fresh fruit usually comes in.
