Up for your consideration is this wonderful hand painted porcelain Limoges box from LaGloriette. This WW2 US Air Force plane has yellow & black checks on the wing tips and tail, white stars in a blue circle and a red nose.  The landing gear is attached to the bottom & made of metal. A bar is the clasp. It measures 4 1/2" x 5" with a height of 1 1/4". On the bottom is the signature: "Peint Main - Limoges France - LaGloriette".
