*China Rose Congou Specialty Black Tea Blend*

 

A specialty scented hand blended tea consisting of black tea leaves of flowery orange pekoe grade from Anhui Province, China.

 

The China black tea leaves have been scented with organic pink and red rose petals and have a nice delicate floral fragrance.

 

The tea broth yields a crystal clear light coppery color with a very smooth and very mild floral taste accompanied by the slightest hint of smokiness.

 

Teas2u China Rose Congou makes a good afternoon cup of hot tea and/or a delicious clear glass of subtly scented rose iced tea!

 

 

Note: This tea comes packaged in a white kraft tin-tie bag.

 

 

 

Tea Steeping Tips:

 

 

 

1. Use freshly drawn filtered or reverse osmosis water. Spring water is best!

 

 

2. Bring water to a rolling boil. (212°F/100°C)

 

 

3. Rinse tea vessel with hot water and discard after ~5 seconds to warm the pot.

 

 

4. Add ~ 3-4 grams of tea leaves to your tea vessel of choice which holds ~8 oz of water and pour boiling water on the leaves to rinse them. Strain and discard water after ~3 seconds.

 

 

5. Now your ready for the first infusion. Pour hot boiling water on the leaves and steep between 4-5 minutes. Strain the tea liquor.
