DESCRIPTION
This BREATH TAKING fine translucent demitasse teacup has a soft, light hand and is of a fine bone china with a motif in the porcelain that is full of movement and life. The gold and green stylized water design of the porcelain on this fluted teacup is set off with hand painted raised (using the moriage technique) golden points of light along the rims and below the main motif if the most marvelously pink flower. With the golden watery floral design is accented in the teacup's base which sits on 6 tiny low lying pedestals that are rimmed in gold at the base of the teacup. The cup & saucer's design causes the set to blend perfectly. The saucer is shaped with a rippled edge and has the same ornate floral accented with green with gold moriage dotted trims as the teacup.

The handle, with its gold trim detailing is shaped very simply and delicately folds onto the base of the teacup. At the base of the handle the porcelain raises upinto a leafy shape and sends a ripple of raised porcelain all around the cup ... The teacup & saucer are topped off with a hand painted rim of gold. This piece is SIMPLY AMAZING!
