A Butterick 3879…a Fast and Easy Misses’ Nightshirt, Bikini Briefs and Iron-On Transfers Vintage Sewing Pattern in Size Medium, Bust 34 – 36 inches.  Sized for Moderate Stretch Knit Fabrics Only.

The pattern is cut and all the pieces are there; the original seamstress started to cut the pieces out and then stopped.  The zodiac transfers are uncut.  The instructions are there.  The envelope is in excellent vintage condition with tanning, tears, and wear.  The envelope flap is still attached.  There is no copyright date but following the guide this pattern is 1974.

The zodiac transfers are outlines.  There is no guarantee that after all these years that the iron-on transfers will work and an alternate method/technique such as carbon paper and then embroidery in an outline stitch is suggested.
