Four ears of this corn were found in a dry cave by hunter in 2018. No one knows how long they had laid in the darkness. Only a few of the kernels were still viable, but that was enough for me to propagate this ancient gift.. It is said that every seed tells a story and I would hope they speak to you as they have to me.
The beautiful little ears come with kernels in an array of colors - purple, white, and gold. The corn is hardy and drought-tolerant. A flint corn, it can be popped and kids would love to grow it. A packet now contains 80 seeds so together we can maintain the genetic diversity.
