Vintage crochet pattern from 1949 for a Short Sleeve Dress with Slightly Flared Skirt from Nomotta, called "Riviera."   Includes a short section on working with ribbon.

Sizes: 12, 14, 16
Bust: 30, 32, 34 inches
Waist: 25, 26 ½, 28 inches

Materials required: 
Yarn - Nomotta Ruban d'Art (100 yard spools), 20 (21-22) spools
Straight Knitting Needles, US No. 7 (standard) or 4.50 mm
Steel crochet hook, US No. 4 (standard) or 3.50 mm
1 yard elastic for belting
7 inch zipper for skirt
1 ½ yard of 1 ½ inch grosgrain ribbon for facing
1 yard 1 ½ inch grosgrain ribbon for belt
6 small button
Shoulder pads if desired. 

Gauge: 
9 stitches and 9 rows = 2 inches when blocked
