Vintage knit patterns from 1949 for a Short Sleeve Top with Small Collar and Skirt from Nomotta, called "Caprice."   Includes a short section on working with ribbon.

Bust: 30, 32, 34 inches
Waist: 25, 26 ½, 28 inches

Materials required: 
Yarn - 
BLOUSE: 
*Nomotta Ruban d'Art (100 yard spools), 7 (8-9) spools AND
*Clair de Lune (1 ounce skein), 1 skein or boucle type yarns
SKIRT:
*Nomotta Ruban d'Art (100 yard spools), 9 (11-12) spools 
Straight Knitting Needles, US No. 10 (standard) or 6 mm
Steel crochet hook, US No. 2 (standard) or 2.25 mm
10 inch zipper
7 inch skirt zipper
1 yard of ½ inch wide grosgrain ribbon 
1 yard belting
2 hooks and eye
1 pair shoulder pads 

Gauge: 
Blouse: 9 stitches = 2 inches and 4 rows = 1 inch when blocked.
Skirt: 5 stiches and 4 rows = 1 inch when blocked
