Large Candy, Bon Bon or Nut bowl most likely (it would hold a fair amount) but could be used as a serving dish for vegetables and potatoes. Seems to fit with Reed & Barton’s Jubilee pattern - at least according to Google when you do a search for the X300 pattern.

Very heavy and solid at 288 grams. Just needs a deep cleaning.

Interesting to note Reed & Barton also made a 12 inch version of this bowl and called it a bread tray.

Seemingly a versatile option for the table.
