My shop name is winebeerglasses, same as my former Etsy shop (see the last image).  I have a perfect 5-star customer rating from my buyers at Etsy for five years.  I left Etsy because Etsy's customer support is unbearable.  I decided to migrate to Bonanza.

I build and restore vintage automatic watches as a hobby using my knowledge in precision engineering and aesthetics.  All my watches are freshly lubricated, timegrapher regulated, and cleaned to restore the pleasure of wearing a vintage watch with its full functionalities and timing performance.

I do not use Chinese-made parts, even the spring bars are Swiss Made.

There was a time when Longines was one of the most innovative watch makers in the Swiss, sort of similar to Audi for German cars in the late 70s and early 80s. Longines broke ground to launch this famous 431 movement, beating at 36000 beats per hour or 10 beats per second. This was revolutionary and Longines optimized the design to keep it robust and efficient. I was fascinated with this movement and started to study it and accumulate it.

The case is 36 mm across, not including the crown, and 40 mm lug to lug. The thickness is about 10 mm.

Here is an offer from my personal collection.

The watch is all original except the bezel and crystal. The crystal is new, made by GS, Germany, while the original 14K gold bezel was removed by the previous owner for gold and I replaced it with a gold plated bezel, made by Tissot. This bezel snaps into place as the original and it matches the case very well. The original two-tone bracelet is solid link with a Longines signed buckle. It is very comfortable to wear and can fit up to a 8" wrist.

The style of the watch basically define the aesthetics of 70s, elegant, stylish, but not outlandish!

The case full stainless steel. The dial has some marks and cuffs, but very clean as for its age. Overall, this watch is a rare find in such condition. The high beat rate allows the watch to keep very precise time. This watch is fully serviced.

As in any vintage watches, keep it from water because I did not test it for its water proof capability.

The sale is final. But I will offer free maintenance for three months. The buyer only pays one way shipping to me if service is needed. I will repair it and ship it back for free.

It is time to wear something different against the onslaught of electronics. In terms of the art of mechanical design, 60s and 70s were the peak. After that, it is all half electronics or full electronics.
