GOLDEN APPLES OF THE SUN

Facsimile dust jacket for the first edition book by Ray Bradbury

Facsimile dust jacket for the Doubleday 1953 first edition published by Doubleday Co. No book is included.

This facsimile dust jacket will also fit most of the later early editions.

I COMBINE SHIPPING ON MULTIPLE JACKETS. I WILL ADJUST this after purchase as a credit though PayPal. So, do NOT get distraught if you see a larger shipping price after you purchase two or more. Usually I can get a lot of jackets in a parcel and the shipping price will be like it is for one jacket.

The original dust jacket was digitally scanned restored from an original by fine artist John Anthony Miller and has been trimmed, enclosed in a Mylar jacket protector. It has been printed with archival inks on acid-free 120GSM paper.

This facsimile dust jacket has "Facsimile Dust Jacket" tastefully printed on the rear jacket panel and has the monogram of "JAM" at the bottom of the rear jacket panel.

Additionally, this dust jacket has a signature in pencil by the artist (known world-wide for his exquisite and highly detailed miniature etchings and engravings) on the VERSO of the jacket for those of you now collecting the jackets only for the art, as many are now framing these separately from the book.

Thank  you very much for you kind response to my facsimile dust jackets. These are made one by one by hand with great care. They will NEVER be   mass produced, and are made for reader and collector alike. I have   received many positive comments about my work in making and printing  these facsimile jackets. Here is one of them:

"John's unique artistry was evident as soon as I saw The Great  Gatsby dust jacket.  Having seen scores of facsimile jackets,  John's work is in a completely different league.  The rich tonal   quality of the colors is breathtaking and the weight of the paper is  carefully considered.  He satisfied the needs of the most   demanding client, even during a personally trying time.  I look   forward to doing continued business with him in the future and give   him my highest recommendation."  Ryan Dohm, Profiles in   History
