This is a pair of elegant vintage Ann Klein signed drop pierced earrings. They are marked on the back ©AK. She formed the Anne Klein Company in 1968 and she died in 1974. After her death, other designers continued producing her jewelry. In 1981 Swank started making jewelry using the Anne Klein name and the lion logo. The push backs of the earrings aren’t the original ones that came with the earrings. The post backs are both marked Monet, you can easily replace the backs with new ones. The earrings are a gold tone based metal with pink heart shaped cabochons. The cabochons appear to be plastic; they have an unusual shine to them and may be foiled backed, they remind me of rose quartz. The earrings measure approximately 1 ½ inches long and ¾ of an inch wide across the hearts.
They are in excellent vintage condition as you can see by the enlarged photographs. Please look at all the photos as they are part of the description.
