This is a lovely vintage Art Deco black enamel circle and rhinestone sterling silver brooch. It is marked on the back “STERLING”. The round open design is accented with a nice design using black enamel and emerald green rhinestones.  There are 5 green rhinestones inset at the 12:00, 3:00, 6:00 and 9:00 positions. This was definitely hand crafted as you can see the silver accent lines; they are not perfectly straight and are different throughout the brooch edge. The stones are deeply inset. It secures on the back with the old style “C” clasp pin. It measures approximately 1 ¼ inches in diameter. It weighs .2 ounces on my postage scale, which converts to 5.67 grams.

It is in great vintage condition as you can see by the enlarged photographs. All the stones are intact and there is no damage to the enamel. I have not polished it as many people prefer the old patina that comes only with age. Please look at the pictures as they are part of the description and show the details much better than I can describe.

This is a gorgeous and classic piece of vintage jewelry to add to your collection. A special and romantic gift for someone you love. The circle represents “infinity” and this will tell her that your love will last forever.
