Folks, this is one of the most important plants in my collection, and it pleases me to offer The Wild Bergamot since I finally found the gem in the wild here in central Oklahoma along certain country roads this last 2013.
The Bergamot is in the Mint Family. The entire plant makes a Lot of Oil that smells very much like strong Tea Tree Oil. Some people call this the Bee balm. The entire Bergamot plant is a natural source of the antiseptic thymol, making a potent tea for cold and flu.
Stay well with this one.
Keep the house clean and fresh.
Due the nature of this plant and its importance, this listing is for 2 big dried pods intact as depicted in frame 4. I couldn't fit another pod in the bag, lol. I figure this way you will enjoy and then easily learn the scent immediately. You will never forget this plant once you smell it. You will also learn to recognize the tiny golden seeds yourself to help you keep it going. Each floret contains a seed at the base, so you will get 200+ seeds in two mature pods.
The beautiful electric light purple flowers bloom from June-September in zone 7, and attract a lot of bees and even other wildlife like this amazing to see hummingbird moth!
Perfect Plant for your special gardens.
Thank you for looking!
