Up for your consideration is this wonderful hand painted porcelain Limoges Box from Parry Vieille. This French box of cheese, marked "Camembert Veritable au lait entier 250g", has a cow resting in a pasture on the cover. A removable, realistic, porcelain wheel of cheese with a cut out wedge fits inside, if desired. This box has a diameter of 1 5/8" with a height of 3/8". Signed on the bottom: "Limoges France Peint Main Marque Deposee PV". The cheese is marked "Limoges France" on the back. Flower clasp.
