The goal I had for this piece was to produce a work based on a song with a color in its title using a basically monochrome palette. I originally wanted to focus on blue, but didn't get a song title that inspired me! However, my fabric stash is loaded with greens, so it was only a matter of selecting which ones to use, hence, Green Grow the Rushes, O!

I played again with Angelina® fiber, trying to get white clouds, but it turned out more gold than white. However, with a green sky, the gold clouds work fine here!

Size: 23½" x 20"

My artwork is mounted on foam core, which creates a light-weight but rigid piece with a wire for hanging and  a felt backing. It is treated with a sun-block spray, although prolonged exposure to direct sunlight may eventually cause fading.
