Here is a 100% COMPLETE, Fisher Price Little People #2552 McDonald's Restaurant play set. Manufactured for only one year (1999), this toy is exceedingly hard to find with all its pieces and in this kind of condition (EXC-EXC++).  NOTE: This is the original version of this set. It featured the original Little People, NOT the chunky figures. This set is coveted by collectors and children alike:) To add to the fun, I've inserted five extra Little People figures and two more vehicles.

The toy itself features a highly entertaining, slide-out playground with a McDonald's shake riding toy, a gobbling cheeseburger slide that opens and shuts with the push of a lever, a french fry mini-roller coaster, and a merry-go-round. One can even "launch" one of the Little People aloft on the blue catapult lever to land inside the cheeseburger and slide outside via the slide. What fun!

This Vintage Fisher Price Little People McDonald's Restaurant Play Set has an "automatic" front door (the character steps on the step and the door opens), a drive-thru window with slide-out tray, an order counter complete with a cash register, a revolving menu board on the back door, and an indoor eating area. When the characters are finished eating at their table, they can slip away onto the playground by dropping through the escape hatches. All the moving parts are fully operational.

The plastic surfaces are bright and colorful and are devoid of any chips, abrasions or discolorations on any of the plastic surfaces. The only "imperfection" I can spy is a small crack where the rear, left hand brick column attaches to the brick wall.  That's it!  I will be repairing the crack with either Rubber Cement or Krazy Glue so that it does not progress.  All of the lithos are intact and devoid of any bubbles, creases, stains or marks.

I've examined this play base with a "fine tooth comb." It's truly a BEAUTIFUL Vintage Fisher Price play set.  I would consider this play base to be in EXC-EXC++ condition.  I have lowered my original rating of NEAR MINT--MINT based solely on the presence of this crack.  Once it's repaired, I believe it will deserve an EXC++-NEAR MINT designation.

1 RARE Ronald McDonald (EXC+++- one 1/8" diameter rub on the back of Ronald's hair and one pin-head size rub on his left elbow);

1 VHTF french fry cart (MINTY MINT);

1 EXTREMELY RARE blue/white car w/front and back seats and fins (MINTY MINT: this car is UNIQUE to the #2552 McDonald's play set; it has no FP logo on the hood; the underside of the car says Fisher Price 1969-87);

1 VHTF tall, coral bodied Mom w/black pony (MINTY MINT);

1 VHTF yellow bodied boy with brown molded hair (NEAR MINT--NOTE: this is one of the variations Fisher Price used in the production of this set; instead of always using the yellow bodied boy with black molded hair, they sometimes used the yellow bodied boy I have inserted here; this little guy exhibits a miniscule amount of edge wear around the lower edges of his hair; this wear is only about the width of a human hair; I basically found it via touch); and

1 RARE short, orange bodied girl with rust sculpted hair (MINTY MINT).

To add to the number of open-ended play possibilities, I have included the following BONUS pieces:

1 HTF, all plastic, green bodied Dad with molded black hair (MINTY MINT);

1 HTF, all plastic, green bodied boy with black molded hair (MINTY MINT);

1 HTF, all plastic, blue bodied girl with rust sculpted hair and a white collar (MINTY MINT);

1 VHTF, all plastic man with heat stamped hair (MINTY MINT);

1 all plastic, blue bodied Mom with blonde pony and fancy eyes (MINTY MINT);

1 RARE, all yellow, single seater car (NEAR MINT--several small indentations on top of the windshield); and

1 RARE, all red car with front and back seats, fins (VG+-VG++--minor amount of rust on wheel caps.  I will be eradicating this with a generous application of Naval Jelly and a gentle buffing; if I'm successful, then this car will warrant a MINT rating. 

Please note I'm being super "nit-picky" in describing this set. Most sellers would not even mention the minor aberrations I have disclosed. In fact, many of my previous customers have stated that their purchases from me have FAR EXCEEDED my descriptions. Don't take my word for it; check out my feedback.

This set would make a FANTASTIC addition to someone's Vintage Fisher Price Little People collection or for some special child to receive. What a RIVETING toy to have at Grandma's house for when the grandkids come to visit!!!! What little one doesn't enjoy pretending they're going to McDonald's?

I will be thoroughly Q-tip cleaning this play set with a child's toothbrush, toothpicks, and Q-tips before I send it to its new owner. I spend a MINIMUM of 1 1/2 -5 hours cleaning each and every VINTAGE Fisher Price Little People play set I sell except for those clearly marked in My Rough Room. I utilize a variety of cleaning products: Dawn w/anti-bacterial ingredients, Mr. Clean's Magic Eraser, Goo Gone, Soft Scrub, Comet, Chlorox bleach pen, Crayon Away, Naval Jelly, Armor All wipes etc. My sets are SQUEAKY CLEAN!!!

NOTE: THIS VINTAGE PLAY SET IS NOT PART OF THE RECENT FISHER PRICE RECALL. THIS SET WAS MANUFACTURED IN THE GOOD OLD U.S.A.!

I primarily utilize Fed Ex Home Delivery for items exceeding 5 lbs. in weight, measuring greater than 12 inches in any dimension, or traveling longer distances. I’ve been finding Fed Ex has been running @33% cheaper than the USPS (including Parcel Post) and UPS Ground. FYI, another benefit of using either Fed Ex or UPS is that their quote includes up to $100 worth of FREE insurance. Additional amounts of insurance may be purchased for a nominal fee (that is much less than the USPS). Fed Ex also provides automated tracking updates re: your parcel’s whereabouts directly to your personal e-mail account.

In order to ship Fed Ex (or UPS for that matter), I MUST have a residential or work place address, NOT a P.O. Box number, as well as a home or cell phone. Otherwise, they will not accept the shipping paperwork or transport your item.

Items  traveling  to Alaska or Hawaii will be shipped Parcel Post via the USPS. Insurance and delivery confirmation are required.

I’m more than willing to combine multiple purchases into one box whenever it is safe to do so to decrease your shipping costs. 7PLEASE wait to check out until I can combine your purchases on ONE INVOICE and can calculate their combined shipping rate via Fed Ex. If you pay for these items separately, I get charged multiple transaction fees by PayPal plus you get over-charged on your shipping.
