My first husband was an economics consultant to the government of China and traveled to remote areas of China in the 1980s. He often commented that his hosts would take him places where no other foreigners went.  On those trips he brought back a treasure trove of jewelry, crystal, glass, and china objects, and antique pottery.  Our two sons were crazy about pandas, so he brought this china home. 

This 8-piece child-size china tea set includes a serving plate, 6 round tea cups (Chinese style with no handles), teapot, and  lid.  The set has been stored in its original cloth-covered, padded box and was packed away in my mover's storage warehouse for about 11 years.   I recently retrieved everything from storage, and it is time for the plate to go to a new home to be enjoyed.  (I am also listing a 5" Chinese panda plate separately.  See that, too.)
