Item description for Vintage 1930s Flower Brooch Pin Blue Cabochon Style Metal Spec NY USA

This gorgeous silver tone flower brooch was manufactured by the Style Metal Specialty Company of New York. This company was in business only for a brief time period; from the 1930s to 1940s so their jewelry is rare and this is a great collectible piece. It is stamped or signed on the back “Style Metal Spec. N.Y.” The brooch is made from a silver tone metal in the shape of a very three dimensional rose style flower. The petals are designed in layers that feature a cobalt blue art glass cabochon in the center. This is a large brooch and it measures approximately 2 ¾ inches in diameter.

It is in great vintage condition as you can see by the enlarged photographs. The pin does have a slight bend and wobble to it, but it does not affect the closure at all. It does close securely with a rollover clasp. The silver tone metal has a darker patina to it, which only comes with age and it adds to the beauty of the piece. This is a stunning brooch that will be noticed and complimented on. It will look amazing with a little black dress for a special formal occasion, or with your favorite pair of jeans for that classy casual look.
