This is a beautiful elephant shaped pendant with a raised trunk for good luck. It is made from some type of plastic; resin, lucite, etc. It is actually fairly heavy and weighs 1.15 ounces on my postage scale, which converts to 32.60 grams. The elephant’s feet, tail, tusk and back saddle or Howdah are made from brass. It has an orange amber glass rhinestone eye with six small rhinestones accenting the Howdah and three large marquis shaped stones that hang down from the rope edge of the saddle. The stones do not move. It measures approximately 2 ¾ inches long (including the bale) and 1 ¾ inches wide.

This pendant is in great vintage condition as you can see by the many enlarged photographs. Tiny defects in the plastic only show up with magnification, not with normal vision. On the back of the elephant there are tiny bubbles in the material from when it was made. It looks much nicer in person than it photographs. Please look at the photos as they are part of the description and show the details better than I can describe. The chain in the photos is NOT INCLUDED in the sale.

This would be a wonderful addition to your collection of vintage figural jewelry. This is a great gift for anyone who believes that an Elephant with the trunk in the up position is good luck. Wear the pendant whenever you need a little extra luck.
