Item description for Vintage Fish Earrings Etched Brass Wood Circle Posts Bohemian Figural

This is a pair of vintage etched brass fish earrings. These bohemian style earrings feature detailed fish attached or mounted to a round wood circular tinted black base. The earrings measure approximately 2 ¼ inches long and 2 inches wide at the widest point. The diameter of the circle portion is approximately 1 ¾ inches across. These are most likely from the 1970s to 1980s. They are not signed.

These are in nice vintage condition as you can see by the enlarged photographs. I have not polished the brass; I will leave that up to you as many people prefer the older patina. There is some slight tarnishing that you can see in the photos, I don’t know if it will polish out, but you don’t really notice it without magnification and it is common on the old brass pieces. The backings on the post are not identical, the colors are different. Please look at the photos as they are part of the description and show the details better than I can describe.

These are perfect to wear with a little black dress or your favorite pair of jeans. These would be a wonderful accessory addition to your wardrobe, for anyone who loves fish or collects figural vintage costume jewelry.
