Item description for Miracle Celtic Knot Scottish Brooch Pin Pewter Gold Plated Shield Kilt

This is a lovely Miracle Antiqued Pewter and Gold Plated Celtic Knot round brooch or pin. This is a highly detailed knotwork design with an openwork Celtic weave rim and a gold plated center that really makes the knot stand out and pop. It was created by the British Company “Miracle” that was formed in 1946 by A. Hill and Company in Birmingham, in 2013 they moved the company to Cornwall, but don’t seem to be producing any new jewelry. Since they began designing the jewelry line they have been the leading producer of Celtic, Irish and Scottish styles. Their designs are inspired by the old Scottish and Celtic artistry. It measures approximately 2 inches in diameter. This is a contemporary piece and is marked with a small rectangular block with the MIRACLE signature in regular capital letters.

This brooch is in great vintage condition as you can see by the many enlarged photographs. The clasp works just fine and secures to a garment with a locking safety catch. Please look at the photos as they are part of the description and show the condition better than I can describe.

This will look great for that dressy evening perfect to wear with a little black dress or with your favorite pair of jeans for a casual day of shopping.
