Here is a Playmobil Magic Princess Castle #4252 Royal Bathroom set with its original box for your consideration.   Manufactured by Playmobil from 2005-13, this #4255 Magic Princess Castle Royal Bathroom set was one of the add-on sets Playmobil produced to furnish their Magic Princess Castle #4250.  I've painstakingly examined the contents of this set and it's 100% complete.  

 

This set features a lovely young Princess in her Royal Bedroom trying on different outfits, jewelry, and head gear etc.  This is a hard set to find complete with all of its tiny accessories (e.g. dressmaker's dummy, wig, puffed sleeves, hat with two different feathers, perfume bottle, thin crown, pink beaded necklace and pendant necklace etc.) and in this condition (NEAR MINT).  The Princess debates whether to wear her fashionable white, rose trimmed, slender dress or to go "all out" and add her full, "hoop-like" skirts.  She sits at her lavish vanity and brushes her hair before she decides which piece of jewelry she wants to wear and whether she wishes to "go out" incognito by shedding her crown and wearing her "statement" hat.  At the end of a long day, the Princess can collapse on her bed to get some needed rest before she tackles another day. 


The set is accompanied by its original box which provides a reference regarding all of the components included in this offering.  The inner flap of the box has been torn at both ends and the outer flap demonstrates some creasing.  On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being perfect, I would rate this box as being an 6.5/10.  


FYI, Playmobil  toys are renowned for their high quality, durability, attention to detail, and  the extendibility of their underlying toy system. All figures are scaled to fit in a child's hand with add-on accessories (e.g.  hats, skirts, aprons, collars,  scarves, armor, head dresses, shoes, sandals, jewelry etc.) lending authenticity to the different characters involved.  The jointed figures are able to clasp items in their hands and move about through "child power." A wide assortment of vehicles, animals, furniture, and buildings are realistically scaled according to their "real-life" equivalents and to reflect actual life scenarios.  Several of the animals have mouths that open and close and the elephants' trunks can pick up buckets by their handles etc..   


All of Playmobil's play sets revolve around  established "themes" familiar to young children (e.g. Medieval
Castles and Knights, Pirates, Western Forts, Native Americans, Trains,  Stage Coaches, Gold Mines, Circuses, Zoos, Victorian Mansions, Fairy Tale Castles, Sherwood Forest, Construction, Doctors and Dentists' Offices, Hospitals, Airports, Modern Homes etc.).  


Given the high level of detail, children's imaginations are afforded endless open-ended play opportunities. Not only do these toys broaden a child's imagination, creativity, attention, and use of elaborate oral narratives, they also have earned numerous toy awards and conform to the highest production standards of quality and safety in accordance with European and American safety guidelines. These toys,  while primarily manufactured in Germany, also are produced in Malta and  Spain. They are distributed in more than 70 countries throughout the world.  


I can vouch for the high quality and play value these toys afford. My own children played with a variety of these sets up until age 13! Now they want me to save them for THEIR future children!  Talk about getting "your bang for the  buck."  Several of them were employed in school diorama projects.  What a lifesaver! I also used them with my pre-school and school aged  clients for speech-language therapy. They'd be great for families that are home-schooling  their children.   


Due to the small, intricate parts, Playmobil recommends that these toys be reserved for  children 4 years of age and up. However, my daughter, who never mouthed her toys and was advanced for her age, received her first Playmobil toys at 2 1/2 years of age. Adult supervision is highly recommended for children  under 3-4 years of 
age.
