This is a great pair of Man in the Moon Pierced Earrings with long dangling stars hanging from the moon. The moon face has a flowing beard and hair that form the texture of the moon. Each earring has 3 five pointed stars attached to the ornate crescent moon by silver linked chains. These long and lightweight antiqued pewter dangle earrings measure approximately 4 ¼ inches long (including the wires) and 1 ½ inches wide. They are quite striking and as you can see by the pictures almost touch the shoulders. The image of the man in the moon is on both sides of the earrings so they can be worn facing in or out.

These are in excellent vintage condition as you can see by the enlarged photographs. They are on ear wires, but could easily be converted to clip on earrings if you wanted to do so. These were from the 1980s or early 1990s. I have seen similar ones today, but they don't have dangles hanging from the bottom of the moon, only a single dangle hanging from the top in the center. I have not been able to find another pair like these.

They would make a perfect addition to your accessories, what fun these would be to wear to a Renaissance Fair. They would look great with dressy or casual clothes.
