This is a dramatic vintage necklace and earrings set . The necklace consists of two strands. The first is a strand of round beads in a rich stunning blue color. It has a bright luster and the beads are graduated, they start out smaller and get larger and then smaller again. The second strand is a gold toned chain. At the bottom end of the necklace in the center is a large round ball bead (7/8 of an inch wide) with a filigree gold end-cap on it. The necklace when stretched out measures 27 inches in length. The matching clip earrings measure just over 2 inches long and 3/4 of an inch wide. The earrings are signed Japan on the back of the clips. This set is from the 1960s.

The set is in great vintage condition as you can see by the enlarged pictures. No missing, chipped or cracked beads. The brass clips on the back of the earrings do have patina, which is appropriate for their age. This would make a great addition to your collection of vintage jewelry, perfect for a dressy evening or casual with your jeans.
