This is a lovely gold tone filigree metal dangling chain vintage swag brooch or pin. The top part of the brooch is a stylized cross with a faux black onyx cabochon stone in the center. Hanging from the cross are two suspended chains and in the center is a long teardrop black bead with a fancy end cap on the top. This is a large brooch and measures 4 inches long and 2 inches wide. The center stone is approximately ¾ of an inch in diameter. This is most likely from the 1960s to early 1980s and is done in a Victorian Revival inspired style.

This is in very good vintage condition as you can see by the enlarged photographs. The “C” clasp pin on the back works just fine and is nice and secure. There are little beads of glue that come through holes on the back where the cabochon was attached, it almost looks like they are intentionally meant to secure the cabochon to the back. This is original to the piece.

The brooch would be a great addition to your vintage jewelry collection. It would look great worn as a brooch or pin and would also make a great accent piece on any v-neck dress to completely change the look of the outfit (see picture of brooch pinned on the shirt in the photo). Great Goth look as well.
