This is a great eye catching pendant necklace in a faux turquoise and silver tone metal from the 1960s or 1970s that was made to look like Native American jewelry. I believe it is made from a lucite or plastic material. It is a Southwestern style Squash Blossom design. The centerpiece of the necklace is a medallion pendant adorned with simulated turquoise. The large oval center it is surrounded by a ring of two rows of small circular silver dots and then small round faux turquoise beads and finished with navette shaped openwork teal or turquoise blue beads as the outer ring. The pendant measures approximately 3 inches tall and 2 ½ inches wide. The chain is 24 inches in length. It is not signed. It is a heavy piece and weighs 1.9 ounces total (including chain) on my postage scale, which converts to 53.86 grams.

It is in good vintage condition as you can see by the enlarged photographs, but could use a cleaning, especially around the bases of the small turquoise beads, and a few spots on the navettes, but I will leave that up to you. It appears that the glue holding in the little round beads has yellowed a bit at the base of the beads. There are no missing or chipped pieces, there is a slight mark on the center stone like an indentation line, but it looks like it may have been original to the piece and you only see it with magnification. The clasp closure is in good working condition. The silvertone metal dots have a darker patina around the focal center patterned teal cabochon. Please look carefully at the enlarged photos so you can see the details for yourself, as they are part of this description.

This is a large and striking necklace that will make a fashion statement with any outfit.
