This is a great pair of vintage silver tone metal cufflinks by the Japanese company Sun Eagle. They are made in a smooth silver and a textured black tone metal circular design. These belonged to my Dad and are most likely from the 1960s or early 1970s. The circular tops of the cufflinks are 5/8 of an inch in diameter and the tie tack is 3/8 of an inch in diameter. They are stamped on the stems of the bullet back “Sun Eagle”. The design is either a shamrock or a flower. I have seen the Sun Eagle brand associated with Shippo jewelry.

This set is in great vintage condition as you can see by the enlarged photographs. The shine is amazing, they are probably Rhodium Plated, but I don't know the material for sure.

This would be the perfect classy set to wear on St. Patrick's Day. A great representation of the Luck of the Irish. This set could easily be unisex and would work for either a man or a woman, good fortune for both.
