Here is a CLASSIC, VINTAGE FISHER PRICE #510 NURSERY RHYMES PICK UP 'N PEEK PUZZLE for your inspection. This puzzle consists of 6 pieces, each equipped with a yellow peg. The pegs are designed to help little fingers easily remove the pieces from the puzzle. Manufactured between 1972-81, the puzzle depicts a number of the classic Old Mother Goose Nursery Rhymes (e.g. Humpty Dumpty, Three Men in a Tub, Jack and Jill, Little Miss Muffet, Little Boy Blue, and Hey, Diddle Diddle). The puzzle is intended for 2-5 year old children. All of the pieces, when removed, have an underlying litho showing what happened subsequently to the main character at the beginning of the nursery rhyme. Preschoolers just adore standing these puzzle pieces upright and reciting the nursery rhymes. Beginning language learners, can fill in the last word of lines to a nursery rhyme spoken by a nearby adult. The lithos are captivating and spark a lot of conversational attempts. Beginning language learners love filling in the last word in the rhyme or standing the puzzle pieces upright before inserting them in the puzzle. In my opinion, this puzzle is in VG+ condition.

After close examination, I can spy:

1. Some moderate edge wear on several of the puzzle pieces (e.g. Humpty Dumpty's hat, the water under the Three Men in a Tub, the ears of the cat, and Miss Muffet's blue bow);

2. Some chips in the wood (e.g. most prominently on the far right hand side of the "water" on the Three Men in a Tub piece, to the left and right of the well on the Jack and Jill puzzle piece, on the upper edge of the crescent moon, on the lower right hand grass under Little Boy Blue, and on the upper right and left corners of the puzzle; the largest chip is located on the lower right hand corner of the puzzle itself; these chips are not sharp and do not appear to pose any danger to a young child. I just feel obligated to mention them. I've tried to take close up pictures of these "imperfections" so you can see for yourself where they're located and how extensive they are);

3. Some type of white, filmy residue over the scarecrow and haystack on the Little Boy Blue puzzle piece; I haven't tried to clean this puzzle yet; it may or may not come off with a careful cleaning;

4. Several scattered indentations on the wooden part of the puzzle;

5. Some "cracking" across the Humpty Dumpty interior litho (above the boy's hat); this does not go through to the back side of the puzzle;

6. Some type of white, filmy residue on the interior Three Men in the Tub litho (to the right of the tub) along with some missing litho at the far right hand edge of the same litho;

7. Some separation of the top wooden layer from the underlying masonite base; I will be repairing this with some Rubber Cement and a clamp; it should not pose any future problems; and

8. The outline of a large water stain on the back of the puzzle.

This puzzle is marked as having been manufactured in Holland for Fisher Price and the Quaker Oats Company in 1971-72-73. This is a FANTASTIC puzzle for developing a child's early language and eye/hand coordination skills as well as expanding their attention span.

This solid wood puzzle exemplifies Fisher Price's reputation for durable, classic toys. The puzzle weighs 1 lb., 4 oz. UNWRAPPED and my location is Lafayette, IN (47905).

I'm more than willing to combine purchases to save on shipping costs. ALL I ASK IS THAT BUYERS CONTACT ME PRIOR TO PURCHASING MULTIPLE ITEMS SO I CAN MAKE A COMBINED INVOICE. OTHERWISE, THE BONANZA SHIPPING CALCULATOR MAY OVERCHARGE YOU ON SHIPPING AND I WILL BE CHARGED MULTIPLE TRANSACTION FEES BY PAYPAL.

I'm willing to ship items to Canada.  However, be advised that the shipping costs to this country are much higher than here in the mainland United States. If you wish to obtain a shipping quote prior to purchasing the item, please contact me and I will research the shipping costs. I charge the ACTUAL shipping rate. I utilize First Class Priority International for packages weighing less than 4 lbs. and USPS Priority International for packages heavier than that to Canada.  Insurance is required for all International shipments. International customers are responsible for any inherent Custom's fees, duties or brokerage fees.

PayPal is the preferred manner of payment. All payments are due within 5 business days of the listing's conclusion.

I also accept bank-issued Cashier's Checks and Postal Money Orders. Due to my bank's policies, I am unable to ship your item until these forms of payment clear my bank (usually within 3 business days). Please contact me if you would like to pay via a Cashier's Check or a Postal Money Order.

The price listed is for the item itself. The total amount due will be the purchase price of the item + the ACTUAL shipping cost to deliver your item to you. All shipping costs or extra fees (in the case of Canadian shipments) are the responsibility of the buyer. I will do everything in my power to find you the cheapest shipping rate—-whether it’s the USPS (First Class, Parcel, or Priority), Fed Ex, or UPS. I DO NOT PAD MY SHIPPING COSTS—-NEVER HAVE AND NEVER WILL! I SHIP WITHIN 48 HOURS OF A CLEARED PAYMENT.

I primarily utilize Fed Ex Home Delivery for items exceeding 5 lbs. in weight, measuring greater than 12 inches in any dimension, or traveling longer distances. I’ve been finding Fed Ex has been running @33% cheaper than the USPS (including Parcel Post) and UPS Ground. FYI, another benefit of using either Fed Ex or UPS is that their quote includes up to $100 worth of FREE insurance. Additional amounts of insurance may be purchased for a nominal fee (that is much less than the USPS). Fed Ex also provides automated tracking updates re: your parcel’s whereabouts directly to your personal e-mail account.

In order to ship Fed Ex (or UPS for that matter), I MUST have a residential or work place address, NOT a P.O. Box number, as well as a home or cell phone. Otherwise, they will not accept the shipping paperwork or transport your item.

Since Bonanza's shipping calculator does NOT offer Fed Ex Home Delivery as a shipping option, PLEASE DO NOT SEND PAYMENT UNTIL I HAVE HAD AN OPPORTUNITY TO MANUALLY CHECK THESE RATES AND INSERT THEM INTO YOUR INVOICE. Otherwise, the shipping calculator may overcharge you.

Packages traveling to Alaska or Hawaii will be shipped Parcel Post via the USPS. Insurance and delivery confirmation are required.

I’m more than willing to combine multiple purchases into one box whenever it is safe to do so to decrease your shipping costs. Once again, PLEASE wait to check out until I can combine your purchases on ONE INVOICE and can calculate their combined shipping rate via Fed Ex. If you pay for these items separately, I get charged multiple transaction fees by PayPal plus you get over-charged on your shipping. Of course, I will refund you any amount over $1.00 that you've overpaid on shipping. However, it's easier on both of us if you wait until I can send you the correct amount.

I’m more than happy to ship selected play sets to Canada. Remember that shipping to Canada can be quite expensive so please contact me for a shipping quote before you purchase an item. I will attempt to find the cheapest shipping rate possible. Canadian customers will be responsible for any brokerage fees, Custom’s duties, or VAT’s imposed by your government. I am not responsible for these charges. Insurance is required for all international shipments.

Last, but not least, I offer a 10% discount for orders totaling $125.00 or more.

ALL SALES ARE FINAL. NO RETURNS ARE ACCEPTED. I have attempted to bring any noted "imperfections" to your attention prior to your purchasing the item. However, I'm only human. If I have missed something or you have a problem with your purchase, please contact me prior to leaving feedback.

Customer satisfaction is #1 for me. I try to provide outstanding service, high quality merchandise, and secure and expedient shipping.

Feedback is important and I will be happy to leave you feedback once I know everything has arrived safely and that you are pleased with your purchase. Leaving me feedback helps me gauge how well I'm doing and also serves the Bonanza community by directing them to sellers who proffer outstanding merchandise and service.
