Sunset From The Twin Towers of the World Trade Center, New York - 1999
This photo was taken by my wife in 1999 in the "Windows On The World" Restaurant on the top floors of the World Trade center. As seen in the photo the little statue in the upper part of the photo is the Statue of Liberty. The photo is framed in a nice black frame with a white matting, and is signed and dated on the back by my wife. This is a view of the world that will NEVER be seen again. A true collectible. The photo is a 5"x7" Lab Printed photograph, not an ink jet print. We were recently going through our garage and we stumbled upon it when going through old photos. We thought it would be a nice piece for people who've been there and want something to remember it by. About the restaurant: Windows on the World was a complex of venues at the top floors (106th and 107th) of the North Tower of the World Trade Center in Lower Manhattan that included a restaurant called Windows on the World. The restaurant operated from April 19, 1976, until 2001 when they were destroyed in the September 11 attacks Photo comes without the "Do Not Copy" imprint. |
